ChEROKEE TRIBAL EMS
Paramedic Program
The next Paramedic Program is scheduled to begin January of 2024. Questions can be directed to Zach Stutts at zachstut@ebci-nsn.gov.
The Cherokee Tribal EMS Paramedic program is under a Letter of Review, which is NOT a CAAHEP accreditation status, but is a status granted by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) signifying that a program seeking initial accreditation has demonstrated sufficient compliance with the accreditation standards through the Letter of Review Self Study Report (LSSR) and other documentation. However, it is NOT a guarantee of eventual accreditation.
Our goal
The goal of the Cherokee Tribal EMS Paramedic Program is to prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Responder levels.
